Pool Plumbing in Sacramento: Repair, Installation and Leak Detection

Pool plumbing is one of the three things Platinum Pipe Solutions is built around, alongside leak detection and water filtration. Lines, equipment, skimmers, returns, and the leaks that connect all of them.

Some of this work has to happen in the water. One customer needed a broken pop-up on an in-floor system replaced, a repair that required scuba gear. Jordan and Daniel showed up early and got it done in a hail storm. That customer left five stars for the work and, in his words, an extra star for the professionalism. It's on the reviews page with the original screenshot.

How We Handle
Your Pool Plumbing Needs

01

Assess

Jordan inspects the system from the lines to the equipment pad. Pressure tests and a visual check give the full picture before any recommendation.

02

Find the Problem

Leak detection equipment and pressure testing pinpoint whether it's a line, a fitting, or the equipment. You get told which, and the price to fix it.

03

Repair or Replace

Line repair, equipment swap, in-water work if that's what it takes. Quoted before it starts.

04

Run the System

The whole system is run after the repair so you can see it working, with an explanation of what was done and what to keep an eye on.

I have replaced several thru the years, but this repair required scuba gear. Jordan and Daniel showed up early and quickly repaired the pop-up in a hail storm. I would give them 6 stars if it was possible.

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Topping the pool up more often than evaporation explains. Wet or soft ground near the pool. Air in the return lines. Cracks in the deck. Any of those is worth a pressure test before the water bill gets worse.
Yes. Some repairs, like an in-floor pop-up or a skimmer throat, can't be done from the deck. Jordan has done them with scuba gear.
Yes. Useful when buying a house with a pool, before the season, or when something's wrong and nobody can say what. One customer had cracks sealed around a skimmer opening after an inspection she'd booked just to cover her bases.
Detection usually runs $390 to $475, a flat diagnostic fee that's credited toward the repair. Other estimates are free. Cash or check.
